Please click here to send your support. Adele (Greene) Thompson, age 78, of Pelican Rapids, MN, died Friday, July 17, 2020 at Lake Region HealthCare, Fergus Falls, MN. Adele Fern was born June 20, 1942 in Perham, MN, to Harry and Marjorie (Tottenham) Greene. She attended school in Pelican Rapids, graduating from Pelican Rapids High School in 1960. Then she went to Interstate Business College in Fargo, ND. She worked for the Fargo School System as a secretary for numerous years. On June 25, 1964 Adele was united in marriage to Curtis Thompson in Fargo, ND. In 1966 Adele and Curtis moved to Pelican Rapids where they owned and operated a poultry cage-layer operation until 1993. Adele worked for the Lake Region Electric Corporation until her retirement. Adele is survived by her sister Sharon Bourcy of Underwood, MN; 3 nieces: Timberly Bourcy, Amy Bourcy and Penny (Jeremy) Ripperger. She is preceded in death by her parents, husband and brother Ron Greene. Funeral Services are pending at this time.
