Rosalee Joyce Muckey

Rosalee Joyce (Linstrom) Muckey, age 75, of Frazee, Minnesota, died Thursday, January 31, 2019 at Essentia St. Mary’s Hospital, Detroit Lakes, Minnesota. Rosalee was born September 16, 1943 in St. Paul, Minnesota, to Walter and Cleo Linstrom. She united into marriage February 12, 1963 to William Matykiewicz.  She worked odd jobs up to the birth of her children.  In July 1989, she married Donald Muckey.  They ran M&M Turkeys until 1993 when she retired due to health issues. Rosalee is survived by her husband, Donald Muckey, Frazee, MN; children: James (Danita) Matykiewicz, Pelican Rapids, MN, Richard (Laura) Matykiewicz, New York Mills, MN, Christine (Robert) Link, Fergus Falls, MN, Judith Lancaster, Frazee, MN, Duane Muckey, Detroit Lakes, MN, Brian (Amy) Muckey, Fargo, ND, Dale Muckey, Pelican Rapids, MN, Duke Muckey, Fargo, ND; brothers: Percy Highlander and Dan Highlander, Wisconsin; many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Celebration of Life will be held at a later date and time.
