En memoria de la vida de Rosalba Martinez (Carmona-Diaz), quien nació el 26 de septiembre de 1961 en Rancho Nuevo de Cupuato. Fue hija de Maria Soledad Diaz Franco y Jose Carmona Nava, y hermana de 12. Casada con Jorge Martinez en septiembre de 1984 en Uriangato, Guanajuato, de ese matrimonio tuvieron 3 hijos. Vivieron su vida en La Presa, Uriangato, hasta que inmigraron en familia a Pelican Rapids, MN en el año 1995. Fue esposa, madre y ejemplo de gran fuerza, bondad y fe, quien compartió su vida y amor con todos sus seres queridos y amistades: sus hijos Andrea Martinez, Alexandra Martinez, Jose Martinez; sus nietos Alexis Ramirez, Gabriela Ramirez, Jose Martinez, Maria Castellanos, Genesis Martinez, Xiomara Tiño, Camila Martinez. Falleció en paz en su hogar rodeada de sus seres queridos el sábado 23 de mayo a la edad de 64 años. Agradecemos profundamente a Vivie Hospice y a familiares y amigos por brindarnos su apoyo en todo momento.

In memory of the life of Rosalba Martinez (Carmona-Diaz), who was born on September 26, 1961 in Rancho Nuevo de Cupuato. She was the daughter of Maria Soledad Diaz Franco and Jose Carmona Nava, and sister of 12. Married to Jorge Martinez in September 1984 in Uriangato, Guanajuato, from that marriage they had 3 children. They lived their lives in La Presa de Huahuemba, Uriangato, until they immigrated as a family to Pelican Rapids, MN in 1995. She was a wife, mother, and an example of great strength, kindness, and faith, who shared her life and love with all her loved ones and friends: her children Andrea Martinez, Alexandra Martinez, Jose Martinez; and her grandchildren Alexis Ramirez, Gabriela Ramirez, Jose Martinez, Maria Castellanos, Genesis Martinez, Xiomara Tiño, Camila Martinez. She died peacefully in her home surrounded by her loved ones on Saturday, May 23, at the age of 64. We deeply thank Vivie Hospice and family and friends for providing us with their support at all times.

Visitation is on Friday, May 29, 2026, at 5:00 p.m. at St. Leonard’s Catholic Church, Pelican Rapids, MN. Her Funeral Mass will take place on Saturday, May 30, 2026, at 12:30 p.m. at St. Leonard’s Catholic Church, Pelican Rapids, MN. Interment will be held on the same day at 2:00 p.m. at St. Leonard’s Catholic Cemetery, Pelican Rapids, MN.
