Richard Peter Craig

Richard P. Craig, age 70, passed away peacefully August 4th 2026 at Sanford Broadway Hospital in Fargo North Dakota after a courageous battle with lung cancer.

He was born February 24th 1956, in Fergus Falls Minnesota to Norman and Elizabeth (Lehn) Craig. He spent most of his years living in Erhard MN and worked various mechanic jobs.

One of Rick's passions was racing and helping with his nephews Mark and Matt's race cars. He also enjoyed NASCAR, hunting, 4-wheeling, mechanic work, and spending time with his friends and family. He always enjoyed a good meal and had a deep love for his pets.

He is survived by a brother Russell (Lori) Craig, sister Teresa Lindenfelser, sister Norma (Keith) Kragerud, sister Mary Craig, sister Lynette Heldt, brother-in-law Dan Rollie, many nieces and nephews, along with many friends who will sadly miss him. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by an infant brother Robert, a sister Patricia, and a brother-in-law James.

He will be greatly missed and remembered forever.

At the family's request, there will be no service, a celebration of life will be held at a later date.
