Raymond Baughman

Graveside Service will be 11:00 a.m., Saturday, June 6, at Lake View Cemetery, Pelican Rapids, MN. Raymond Baughman, 79, of Pelican Rapids formerly Thief River Falls, MN died Sunday, March 1, 2020 at Riverfront on Main in Pelican Rapids, MN. Raymond Lee was born March 22, 1940 in Omaha, NE, to Thomas and Violet (Kiser) Baughman. He attended school in Omaha, graduating from Millard High School in 1958. Raymond worked at the Omaha Post Office sorting mail. Then moved to Minnesota in 1974 where he worked at Gerald Evenson Trucking. On August 3, 1974 Raymond married Carol Heisler in Pelican Rapids, MN. Raymond and Carol moved to Thief River Falls in 1976. He was employed with NorthStar, Home Lumber and Artic Cat. In 2003 Raymond retired from Arctic Cat. They moved back to Pelican Rapids in 2018. Raymond enjoyed watching Minnesota Vikings and Nebraska Cornhuskers, working puzzle books and sudokus. Raymond is survived by his wife of 45 years, Carol; four children: Anne (Clifford) Fujii, Vale, AZ; Cindy (John) Neuman, Pacific Junction, IA; Connie Baughman, Omaha, NE; Beth (Dana) Hodges, Omaha, NE; numerous grandchildren and many great-grandchildren; sisters-in-law: Penny Jenkins and Idell (David) Cihak; brothers-in-law: Larry (Lisa) Heisler, Jim (Nancy) Heisler, Alan Heisler; and nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by parents; brothers: George, Thomas Jr. and infant brother, Hugo; sisters: Evelyn, Virginia, Vivian, Doris, Dorothy, and Helen; in-laws: David and Florence Heisler; brother-in-law David Heisler.
