Linda Lou Sellman

Linda Lou Fleming/Johnson/Sellman , of Fergus Falls, MN, passed away on May 20th, 2025, surrounded by loving family.

Linda was born May 5th, 1947 in Fergus Falls, MN, the daughter of Lawrence Fleming and Selma Fleming(Larson) the oldest of 4 along with siblings Susan, Peggy, and Terry.

Linda graduated from Fergus Falls High School in 1965, later went on to college, earning an Associates Degree in Accounting. She worked for the state of Oregon in accounting, worked as an event coordinator for many branches of RSVP, and countless other jobs to serve her community throughout her life.

In her 20’s, Linda had her daughter Angela and met her first husband Ronald Johnson. Ron died tragically in a car accident. In her 30’s , she had her son Anthony and met her second husband Edward Sellman. All the while moving between Oregon, Washington, Nevada, Minnesota, and Washington D.C.

Linda especially loved crafting and did her best to pass those skills to the next generation. She was a bleeding heart who often took in and cared for animals in need. At the end of day she enjoyed unwinding watching true crime/detective TV shows.

Linda was a constant friend, mother, and shoulder to cry on to anyone she met. Despite race, gender, or religion, if she could make your day better she would. She gave endlessly and was cherished by so many who never felt they could repay her kindness.

Remaining to cherish Linda’s memory are her children, Angela, Anthony, Gabby(adopted); grandchildren, Scott, Autumn, and Sarah; great-grandchildren, Tyrell, Quentin, Harvey, and Rowan; nieces and nephews, Mike, Patty, Debra, Joe, Nick, Jason, Mara, Josh, Jeremy, Evan, Amber, and Matt; many Great and great-great nieces and nephews, and countless other chosen family and friends.

Preceding Linda in death are her parents, her siblings; her nephews, Steve and Jayme Honrud; and her best friend, Ted.

A memorial service will be held on Friday, May 30, 2025 at 1pm at Larson Funeral Home, family will greet friends for one hour prior to the service.
