Lee Peterson, age 54, of Pelican Rapids, MN, died Wednesday, September 11, 2019 at his residence. Lee Milo was born May 27, 1965 in Fergus Falls, MN, to Larry and Clarice (Swanson) Peterson. He was baptized at home and confirmed at Tingvold Lutheran Church near Underwood, MN. He attended school in Underwood, later graduating from Underwood High School. After graduating he did custom combining in the south. Then Lee served in the U.S. Marines. He worked at West Central Turkeys from 1988-1998. He also worked at Dow Acoustics in Detroit Lakes for 20 years. Lee enjoyed hunting, fishing, splitting wood, guns and just being out in nature. Lee is survived by his children: Brian Peterson, Pelican Rapids; Mikayla (Brian Berend) Jensen, Breckenridge; and Chandler Peterson; five grandchildren: Carson, Jackson, Braydon, Lizzie, and Ethan; parents: Larry and Clarice Peterson; brother, Lowell Peterson; many aunts, uncles and cousins. He is preceded in death by his grandparents, Albert and Gladys Swanson. Memorials preferred in lieu of flowers. Graveside Service: 2:00 p.m., Saturday, September 21, 2019 at Tingvold Cemetery near Underwood, Minnesota with lunch and fellowship to follow Visitation: one hour visitation prior to the graveside service at the cemetery Interment: Tingvold Cemetery, near Underwood, Minnesota Please keep the Peterson family in your thoughts and prayers.
