David Mark Habedank

David M. Habedank, 55, a resident of Fergus Falls, MN, passed away, Wednesday, June 24, 2026 at Sanford Hospital in Fargo, ND.

He was born May 21, 1971, in Wadena, MN. He was the second son of Deanna (Hanson) and Milton Habedank.

David graduated from Fergus Falls High School in 1992. He worked for Productive Alternatives cleaning many local businesses: Shoremaster, Northern Contours and several area churches.

He enjoyed all things hunting and fishing related. He was the luckiest fishman and always secured the biggest fish of the day. He also enjoyed his weekends with his brother Mike, driving around looking for deer, bonfires, and having a cold one. His favorite sports team to watch were the Vikings and Bison football teams, with a close second being the Twins baseball team. He was an avid bowler winning many trophies. He was also a participant of the Special Olympics playing basketball.

He enjoyed life to the fullest, always teasing and joking around. His favorite thing to do was tell people “You’re Fired” or say “Hi trouble”. If you were to bump into David you would definitely get a hug.

Visitation will be from 10:00-11:00 am on Monday, June 29, 2026, with funeral service at 11:00 am at Larson Funeral and Cremation Service in Pelican Rapids, MN. Burial will be at 12:00 pm at Evangelical Lutheran Cemetery, Elizabeth, MN.
