Graveside Service: 2:00 p.m., Friday, July 8, 2022, at Central Lutheran Cemetery, Pelican Rapids, Minnesota. Coffee and bars will be served after the service.

Bradley “Smiley” Nelson, age 60, of Henning, MN, died Tuesday, December 21, 2021, at his home.

Bradley Wayne was born December 21, 1961 in Pelican Rapids, MN to Curtis and Darlene (Forsgren). He was baptized and confirmed at Central Lutheran Church near Pelican Rapids.  He graduated Pelican Rapids High School in 1981. After graduating, Brad drove truck for Duane Farnam hauling milk. Brad was united in marriage with Kellie Streifel. For a number of years, he worked for the Fargo Forum. Presently Brad was working as a feed mill operator for Jennie-O in Perham and Henning

Smiley enjoyed deer hunting and always enjoyed working instead of sitting still. Brad was a member of Central Lutheran Church.

He is survived by his daughters: Samantha Nelson & boyfriend (Dan Garman) and Amanda Burner; siblings: Brian (Carol) Nelson, Greg (Robyn) Nelson, Vonnie (Larry) Bennett, Bruce (Kay) Nelson, Kevin Nelson, Wes (Michelle) Nelson, Julie (Lyle) Jones, Cindy Davidson, Mindy (Brad) Sachs; and numerous nieces and nephews.

­­­­He is preceded in death by his parents; and brother Keith.

FUNERAL POSTPONED UNTIL 11:00 A.M., WEDNESDAY, DECEMBER 29, 2021, at CENTRAL LUTHERAN CHURCH, PELICAN RAPIDS, MINNESOTA.

Visitation: Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the church.
