Wayne Frazier

CELEBRATING THE LIFE OF ...Wayne Ervin Frazier was born on April 16, 1953, in Pelican Rapids, the son of Earl and Maxine (Swenson) Frazier. In 1971 he graduated from Pelican Rapids High School and began working at Park Region Oil Co-op. On January 10, 1990 Wayne was united in marriage to Rebecca Syrstad in Moorhead, MN. After their marriage Wayne and Becky resided in Pelican Rapids. He was also employed at Viking Elementary School, Faith Lutheran Church, and Lake Region Electric Cooperative. In September of 1999 he was diagnosed with pulmonary fibrosis, which forced him to retire.Wayne was known for his sense of humor, in which he would always make you laugh. He enjoyed working on cars, and especially enjoyed spending time with family and friends. Wayne was a member of the Pelican Rapids Baptist Church and the Masonic Lodge of Pelican Rapids.Wayne, age 53, a resident of rural Pelican Rapids, MN, died on Friday, November 24, 2006, at Innovis Health in Fargo, North Dakota, after a lengthy courageous battle with pulmonary fibrosis.Wayne is survived by his wife, Becky of Pelican Rapids; 3 children: Chelsea, Kalob, and Reed, all of Pelican Rapids; 2 brothers: Brent (JoAnn) Frazier and Tim (Diane) Frazier, both of Pelican Rapids; 2 nephews: Tony Frazier and Randy Brusven; 4 nieces: Tonya (Sean) Radel, Nicole Frazier, Sandy Greenlund, and Ronda Brusven; 1 great-nephew, Jacob; 1 great-niece, Paige; aunts, uncles, cousins and many friends.He was preceded in death by his parents.Blessed Be The Memory Of Wayne E.
