Thomas "Tom" Sillerud

Thomas DeLoy Sillerud was born July 5, 1955, in Detroit Lakes, the son of Curtis and Rhoda (Myogeto) Sillerud. In 1973 Tom graduated from Pelican Rapids High School. After graduation he attended Moorhead Technical College. After graduating from college he owned and operated Sillerud Drywall for over 30 years in the Pelican Rapids area. On August 4, 1979 Tom was united in marriage to Terry Glaesman at Trinity Lutheran Church in Pelican Rapids.Tom enjoyed spending time with his friends, hunting, snowmobiles, fast cars (hence his nickname "Tommy-Go-Fast") but most of all being on his farm with his family. Tom was a member of North Immanuel Lutheran Church in rural Pelican Rapids, and a former member of the Pelican Rapids Jaycees.Tom, age 51, passed away on Thursday, June 28, 2007, at the St. Mary's Regional Health Center in Detroit Lakes, Minnesota.Tom is survived by his wife, Terry of Pelican Rapids; son, Corey Sillerud of Minneapolis, MN; daughter, Jenni Sillerud of Pelican Rapids; mother, Rhoda Sillerud of Pelican Rapids; father-in-law: LeRoy Glaesman of Pelican Rapids; 2 sisters: Sue (Allen) Lamm of New Ulm, MN, and Connie (Craig) Frischman of Golden Valley, MN; 3 brothers-in-law: Mike (Mary) Glaesman of Pelican Rapids, Scott (Kelly) Glaesman of Buffalo, MN, and Steve (Lara) Glaesman of Minnetonka, MN; sister-in-law: Barb (Allen) Ripley of Pelican Rapids; nieces and nephews: Reya (Frank) Forstner and daughter Noelle, Tana Lamm, Brett and Jay Ripley, Olivia and Will Glaesman, and Reese Glaesman; along with many cousins.He was preceded in death by his daughter, Bonnie; father, Curtis; and mother-in-law, Shirly Glaesman.Blessed Be The Memory Of Thomas "Tom" Sillerud
