Wayne Stender

Wayne Charles Stender was born March 13, 1963, near Pelican Rapids, the son of Charles and Helen (Hermeling) Stender. He graduated from Pelican Rapids High School in 1982. For many years Wayne worked for Velo Turkey Farms, near Rothsay, MN. He will be remembered as a good worker.Wayne enjoyed fishing and driving throughout the countryside. He was a loyal fan of the MN Twins and MN Vikings.Wayne, age 44, passed away on Wednesday, September 5, 2007, at his home.Wayne is survived by his father, Charles of Pelican Rapids; 2 sisters: Karen (Dan) Lyman of Barnesville, MN, and January Stender of Pelican Rapids; 2 nephews: Daniel and David Lyman; and a niece, Caitlin Lyman.He was preceded in death by his mother, Helen; and his grandparents.
