Bradley Lloyd Gilbert, son of Verner and Eva (Lundeen) Gilbert of Fergus Falls, Minnesota, was born May 19, 1961.On Wednesday, June 3, 2009, he left this world to be with his Lord and Savior Christ, grandparents, and loved ones in Gods glorious kingdom of heaven.Brad was baptized at Elim Covenant Church in Minneapolis and confirmed at Bethel Lutheran Church in Fergus Falls.On October 16, 1982, he was wed to the love of his life, Shelley D. Maahs of Pelican Rapids at Faith Lutheran Church.In 1983, they were blessed with a daughter, Christa, followed later by two sons, Anthony in 1985 and Joseph in 1988.Brad was a 1979 graduate of Fergus Falls High School and at age fifteen started working at National Foods of Fergus Falls.He began work with Soberg Construction in the fall of 1983 where he was employed for twenty five years.Brad was a member of Faith Lutheran Church in Pelican Rapids where he served on the council and was a groundskeeper for many years.Brads faith was very strong and he shared this with everyone.He was an avid fisherman and hunter and enjoyed the trade of craftsmanship.He adored and loved his family. Brad also enjoyed spending time with his many friends.Brad treasured his wife, Shelley; daughter, Christa and husband, Jeremiah Walberg and their daughter, Rylynn, Fergus Falls, MN; sons:Anthony and wife, Sarah Gilbert and their son, Chase, Fergus Falls, MN, and Joseph Gilbert (Molly Davis), Pelican Rapids, MN.He is also survived by his parents, Verner and Eva; a brother, Keith (Betsy) Gilbert, Arden Hills, MN; and a sister, Diane (Cory) Olson, Duluth, MN; father and mother-in-law, Alfred and Shirley Maahs, Detroit Lakes, MN; sisters-in-law and their families; and many nieces and nephews.In lieu of flowers memorials are preferred to theAmerican Cancer Society.Blessed Be The Memory Of Brad Gilbert
