Hazele Rosenquist

Hazele Margrete (Hafstad) Rosenquist, age 102, died peacefully at the Pelican Valley Nursing Home on Sunday morning, August 15, 2010. Hazele was born March 13, 1908, in rural Pelican Rapids, the daughter of Andrew M. and Helen (Tweeton) Hafstad.Early in her life, her family left the farm and moved to Mahnomen, Pelican Rapids, and then to Detroit Lakes, where she continued her education and church work.In 1925, her family moved to Fargo, North Dakota, and Hazele started working for the F.W. Woolworth Co., which turned into a career of 32 years, working in Fargo, Grand Forks, and Wadena.Hazele married Hugh Hack McInnes in 1944, and then married Horace Rosie Rosenquist in 1953.Retiring in May 1962, she and Rosie moved back to rural Pelican Rapids, living there until January 1994, when they moved into Mill Pond View Apartments in Pelican Rapids.Hazele entered Pelican Valley Nursing Home in October of 2006.She was a member of Central Lutheran Church.Preceding her in death were her parents, two husbands, four brothers, and three sisters.She is survived by several nieces and nephews and many good friends.Blessed Be The Memory Of Hazele Rosenquist
