Edward McKenny

Edward McKenny, age 68, a resident of Pelican Rapids, Minnesota, died on Saturday, August 21, 2010, at Innovis Health in Fargo, North Dakota.Edward Lee McKenny was born September 19, 1941, in Worthington, Minnesota, the son of Edward and Arlene (VanDeBerg) McKenny.Edward spent his youth growing up in the cities.He graduated from Roosevelt High School in Minneapolis.After graduation, he worked at Sears Roebuck in Minneapolis until the plant closed.It was there that he met Marlene Anderson.On January 13, 1978, Edward was united in marriage to Marlene in Watertown, South Dakota.Edward and Marlene moved to Pelican Rapids in 1991, to care for her dad, after her mothers death.Marlene preceded Edward in death on January 24, 2004.Edward was well known for restoring antique furniture, he specialized in caning.Edward is survived by his mother, Arlene McKenny, Cambridge, MN; sister, Jill (Jack) Burge, Isanti, MN;nieces:Rana (Christopher) Burge-Olson, and Robin (Steven) Ross; great-niece, Emily; and great-nephews: Jack and Monte.He was also preceded in death by his father, Edward LeRoy McKenny in 1995.Blessed Be The Memory Of Edward Lee McKenny
