Kristy (Schultz) de Maurice

Kristy de St. Maurice, age 58, a resident of Vergas, Minnesota, passed away on Sunday, May 6, 2012, in Rochester, Minnesota.Kristy de St. Maurice was born February 9, 1954, in Madison, South Dakota, the daughter of Lester and Ruth (Schlapkohl) Schultz. At the age of eight, her family moved to Pelican Rapids, Minnesota. She graduated from Pelican Rapids High School in l972, and worked at West Central Turkeys, Inc. in Pelican Rapids. Later on she had two wonderful kids, Michael Kugler and Michelle Ross. Kristy moved to California for 22 years and came back to be with her family, grandkids and friends. She worked most of her life as a waitress, cook and bartender. She liked to garden and have family gatherings. Kristy enjoyed life to the fullest. She especially liked to entertain people and enjoyed her coffee people in the morning.Kristy is survived by son, Michael (Julie) Kugler, Vergas, MN; daughter, Michelle (Brandon) Ross, Fargo, ND; mother, Ruth Schultz, Ottertail, MN; sister, Barb Marquardt, Rothsay, MN; brothers: Mike (Cindy) Schultz, Madison, WI, John (Darla) Schultz, Pelican Rapids, MN, Jim (Pearl) Schultz, Pelican Rapids, MN; grandson, Casey Kugler; granddaughters: Amanda Kugler, Tiffani Ross and Erin Ross; and many nieces and nephews.She was preceded in death by her father, Lester Schultz; brother, Albert "Butch" Schultz; brother-in-law, Robert Marquardt; nephew, Troy Schultz; grandparents: Albert and Christina Schultz, John and Elisie Schlapkohl.
