Marie Emma Haslach

Marie Emma Gruidl was born September 14, 1923, the daughter of John and Alvina (Rambow) Gruidl, Minneapolis, Minnesota. She was baptized and confirmed at Immanuel Lutheran Church, Minneapolis.On June 3, 1942 Marie graduated from Vocational High School, Minneapolis. Marie was united in marriage with George Haslach November 26, 1943 at Immanuel Lutheran Church in Minneapolis. She worked at St. Paul's Lutheran church, Minneapolis, for twenty years as their church secretary, retiring in 1980. George died January 27, 2010.Marie was a member of Grove Lake Lutheran Church, Pelican Rapids. She enjoyed playing cards, puzzles, gardening, motorcycling, and spending time with her family. She was in a card club for 60+ years.Marie Haslach, age 88, a resident of Pelican Rapids, Minnesota, died on Sunday, July 8, 2012, at Pelican Valley Nursing Home at Pelican Rapids, Minnesota.Marie is survived by her children: Allen (Krista) Haslach, Brooklyn Park, MN, Kay (Roger) Evenson, Pelican Rapids, MN, Becky (Don) Radtke, Pelican Rapids, MN, and Jan (Bill) Stefano, Elk River, MN; fourteen grandchildren: Jarrett (Racquel) Leadens, Katrina (Kevin) Kolasa, Jamie (Jason) Bischoff, Renee (Tom) White, Samantha Evenson, Lisa (Chad) Zastrow, Jesse (Janine) Haslach, Sally (Ray) Roberts, Allison (Ron) Haslach-Burns, Jeremy Radtke, Nicole Radtke, Christie Radtke, Ellie Stefano, and Ryan Stefano; twelve great-grandchildren: Wyatt, Morgan, Rhett, Kole, Kodi, Madison, Jacob, Kaden, Weston, Parker, Logan, Blake; one sister, Lois Bredenberg, Minneapolis MN; and many nephews and nieces.She was preceded in death by her parents, John and Alvina Gruidl; and her loving husband, George.Funeral Home:Larson Funeral Home304 3rd Street S.E.Pelican Rapids, MNUS 56572
