Maude Krogstad

Maude Krogstad, age 102, a resident of Pelican Rapids, Minnesota, died on Saturday, September 22, 2012 at the Pelican Valley Nursing Home in Pelican Rapids.Maude Georgia Fretland was born March 1, 1910 in Pelican Rapids, the daughter of John and Mary (Steen) Fretland. Maude attended school in Pelican Rapids, graduating from Pelican Rapids High School. She was employed by Hanson Department Store, Hahn's Style Shop and Olson's Men's Wear in Pelican Rapids. On September 1, 1946 Maude married Julian Krogstad at the church parsonage in Pelican Rapids. Maude was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church.
