Linda K. Himes, age 67, of Pelican Rapids, MN, died Thursday, October 15, 2015 at her residence surrounded by her family.Linda K. (Laschansky) Himes was born March 11, 1948 in Omaha, Neb., to Ervin and Rosemary (Klein) Laschansky. Linda was an amazing cook and a devoted fan of the Nebraska Cornhuskers. She enjoyed quilting, sewing and embroidery. She was a member St. Leonard Catholic Church, Pelican Rapids.Linda is survived by her husband, Jim Himes; son, Trey Hinkle; granddaughter, Jaelyn; sisters: Diane Grapes, Connie (Todd) Carlson, Debbie (John) McCord, Sandee Lea; many nieces and nephews and Jim's children and grandchildren.She is preceded in death by her parents and two children, daughter Mary Catherine and son Trapper.Memorial Gathering: Sunday, October 18, 2015, from 3:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. with a Prayer Service at 5:00 p.m. at Larson Funeral Home, Pelican Rapids, MN.
