Larry Dean Johnson, age 56, a resident of Pelican Rapids, Minnesota, died on Friday, February 19, 2016 at his home in Pelican Rapids. Larry Dean Johnson was born July 30, 1959 in Pelican Rapids, MN, to Morgan and Myrtle (Satter) Johnson. He attended school in Pelican Rapids, graduating in 1977. He was employed by West Central Turkey for 36 years, where he was a chairman of the Ergonomic committee.He enjoyed sporting events such as Minnesota Vikings, Minnesota Gophers, and Pelican Rapids Vikings.Larry is survived by his daughter, Bethany Johnson, Lumberton, NC; grandchildren: Jovani, James, Valeria; brothers: Roger (Beverly) Johnson, Hutchinson, KS, and Ronald Johnson, Laramie, WY; sister: Sharon (Bruce) Coburn, Eden, NC; nephew, LeWayne Saunders.He is preceded in death by his parents; brothers: Jerome and Orland; sister, Darlene Saunders; sister-in-law, Merlene. Visitation: Friday, February 26, 2016, from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. with a Prayer Service at 7:00 p.m. at Larson Funeral Home, Pelican Rapids, MN.
